Around the Norwest Metro station the district goes vertical: nearly three dwellings in four in Norwest are apartments, the highest share anywhere in our catchment. A move here is a building exercise as much as a furniture one.
How we work a tower
- The building comes first.
Before the quote settles, we want the building name, the lift booking window and whether there is a dock. Those three facts shape the crew, the truck and the start time.
- The lift is booked and padded.
Most Norwest buildings require a booked service lift with curtains in place. We work inside the window, which is why tower moves start on time more reliably than any other kind.
- The dock decides the truck.
Height bars and time limits are real: sometimes the right answer is one big truck, sometimes a smaller truck cycling to the dock. We read the dock before choosing, not after arriving.
- The carry is longer than it looks.
Apartment metres are corridor metres: lift lobby, corridor, dock. A crew sized for the carry keeps a two-hour lift window honest.
Between the towers
Bella Vista mixes the business park's newer apartment developments with established family streets, so moves here run both playbooks, sometimes in the same job: out of a tower, into a double-storey five minutes away. Norwest itself is the precinct proper, where nearly every move involves a lift booking.
Most one and two-bed apartment moves fit the two-mover crew at $250/hr; a three-bed penthouse or a tower-to-house upsizer steps up the same honest way as everywhere else. The Two-Truck Test includes the unit-and-townhouse path.

Yes. Weekday building windows are normal here and we plan crews around them; tell us the building's rules in the quote form and we will fit the day to them.
Moving from a tower into a house: one job or two?
